During the in-person training, you will be staying at the 3-star Saneer Boutique Hotel, Jaipur, that offers guests an experience of rest and introspection. This beautiful property is meticulously designed to immerse you in the enchanting bounty and beauty of India, and is adjacent to the Sampoorna Yoga Studio, where your daily practice will take place.

Saneer Boutique Jaipur, is just 6 minutes walk to Patrika Gate and it's miles of generously shaded walking paths. Featuring a lift, pool, spiral staircase, luggage room and restaurant, the boutique-style hotel is sure to awaken a passion for deep self-inquiry. Located in the very heart of Jaipur. some of the 16 spacious rooms are equipped with blackout drapes and an ironing set. With spacious interiors, all rooms have private bathrooms with toilet, shower, and amenities like shower cap, toiletries and towels. FAQs
What is included in the cultural yoga retreat package?
Swadhyaya Yoga School has designed our retreats in the most comprehensive and unique way, providing for an all-inclusive package which covers accommodations, daily yoga and meditation sessions, healthy, delicious sattvic meals , excursions, spa treatments, and airport pick up at Indira Gandhi International Airport (DEL). We also provide personalized wellness services and expert guidance throughout your stay.
Do I need to have prior yoga experience to attend the retreat?
No prior experience is necessary. Our retreats cater to all levels of yoga practitioners, from beginners to advanced. Classes are designed to accommodate individual needs, and our instructors provide personalized guidance.
What types of yoga are offered at the retreat?
We offer a variety of yoga styles, with a focus on Restorative and gentle flow Yoga. Meditation, Yoga Nidra, sound bowl therapy, pranayama (breathwork), and other mindfulness practices are also incorporated into the retreat program to support your overall wellness journey.
What kind of accommodations can I expect?
Our retreat features spacious rooms equipped with blackout drapes and an ironing set, as well as entertainment amenities such as a TV. Bathrooms come with a separate toilet, bath, and shower, along with a shower cap, bath sheets and toiletries. Guests can also enjoy views of the garden, and have a choice between a standard room with king bed, a deluxe king bed room, and a duplex suite with a king-bed. Is the food at the retreat organic and healthy?
Yes! Our meals are prepared with locally sourced, organic ingredients whenever possible. We offer a variety of healthy, plant-based options, though we also accommodate guests with specific dietary needs (e.g., gluten-free, vegan, paleo). Nutritious meals are carefully crafted to complement your yoga practice, and highlight the local cultural cuisine.
How far is the retreat from the nearest airport?
The retreat facility is approximately 3 kilometers (less than 2 miles) from Jaipur International Airport (JAI). However, this trip includes a guided tour of the Taj Mahal and guests are invited to fly into Indira Gandhi International Airport (DEL), where you will be greeted by your host. Ground transportation and an overnight stay in Delhi are also included.
Are there any excursions or activities outside of yoga offered during the retreat?
Yes, we offer a range of excursions and activities, from temple visits to candle making and block printing. These are designed to enhance your experience and allow you to explore the rich cultural breadth of the Golden Triangle in Inida.
Can I bring a friend or partner who doesn’t practice yoga?
Absolutely! While the focus of the retreat is on yoga and wellness, we welcome guests who are interested in enjoying the cultural landscape, excursions and activities without participating in yoga. There are plenty of recreation, relaxation and leisure options for non-yoga participants.
Are private yoga classes available?
Yes. For an additional cost, private classes are available, and can range from Hatha Yoga and Ashtanga Yoga to Ashtanga Vinyasa Flow. Just ask your retreat organizer for details. Or shoot us an email.
Is Wi-Fi available at the retreat?
Yes, Wi-Fi is available in common areas and accommodations.
What is the cancellation policy for the retreat?
We offer flexible cancellation policies depending on the timing of your booking. A full refund is provided if you cancel at least 60 days before the start of the retreat. After that, partial refunds or credits may be offered, depending on the circumstances. Please check our specific terms and conditions for more details. Cancellation must be in writing.
What should I bring to the yoga retreat?
We recommend bringing comfortable, breathable clothing for yoga. The average temperature ranges from 15°C to 30°C between November and December. It is recommended to pack warm clothing and walking shoes for activities and excursions. Yoga mats, towels, and other essentials are provided.
Will I need Travel Insurance?
We highly recommend participants purchase travel insurance when making travel plans, and highly encourage them to purchase trip cancellation insurance. Since each country offers different travel insurance plans, we suggest a policy that has both trip cancellation language, such as “cancel for any reason.” Terminology such as this will protect against the rare chance of cancellation. We encourage you to shop around.
